Reach for a Dream
|
Every child has a dream. But for a child with a life threatening illness, fulfilling his or her dream, does not only make the child happy but it gives the child a chance not to think about her illness for a moment. Spoor & Fisher took its first step last year to fulfil the dreams of Reach For A Dream children and continued with the initiative this year.
On Saturday 19 April 2008, Spoor & Fisher sponsored a day of fun and excitement at Gold Reef City for 19 children from Reach For A Dream and the Spoor & Fisher staff to enjoy together. The children touched the hearts of everyone present. Reach For A Dream had this to say:
“Thank you so very much for making an ordinary day very, very special to our kids. I have yet to come across so many people with a passion for children with no hang up's. I know it takes guts to get involved and i just want you to know that you are all AWESOME!
I just wanted to say the smiles and the excitement on those faces are just priceless. Please convey my regards to the team and give them all a BIG hug and thank you from me.
