Domain Names 

In view of the increased prominence of the Internet and electronic commerce, we have assisted our clients in respect of the registration of their trade marks/company names as domain names since 2000. Our Domain Name Department, based in our Pretoria office, provides a wide range of services and advice. This includes dispute resolution and litigation, conducting domain name searches, providing opinions on the availability of domain names, registration and maintenance of domain names (not only in South Africa but throughout the world). We take direct responsibility for and host the domain names on our internal Domain Name Servers. So as to ensure that Internet enquiries on the particular domain name reaches our clients, we “point” the domain name address to our clients’ main website.
