Commercial transactions relating to intellectual property, including technology transfer, licensing, franchising and joint ventures. Chris is an international specialist in the commercialisation and exploitation of intellectual property. He advises clients on the valuation of intellectual property and appropriate strategies for the management of investment in and exploitation of intellectual property. As a former director at KPMG in London and head of their licensing and commercial exploitation team across Europe, Chris continues to advise a range of clients across Europe and the US.

Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law; Member of the Licensing Executive Society.

Professional activities

Co-author of: South African chapter on “International Intellectual Property Law”, published by The Centre for International Studies; Co-author of: Butterworths Forms and Precedents “Intellectual Property Agreements”. Member of the Congress of Fellows of the Centre for International Legal Studies.
