Only trade marks which have been registered in the United Kingdom may be registered in St.Helena.

Application may be made at any time during the existence of the basic United Kingdom registration.

Any subsequent entry which has been made on the Register of Trade Marks in the United Kingdom, (i.e. assignments, changes of name, changes of address, registered users or renewals) should be recorded in the Register of Trade Marks in St. Helena.

Documents required:

  • Power of Attorney. (not legalised
  • 12 prints of the trade mark, except for word marks in ordinary type.
  • Certificate (of the kind used for obtaining registration abroad) giving particulars of the corresponding United Kingdom registration.

Documents required for all other matters:

  • Power of Attorney (not legalised)
  • Certificate (of the kind used for obtaining registration abroad) giving particulars of the corresponding United Kingdom registration reflecting the entry to be made on the Register is St. Helena.
  • Original certificate of Registration for endorsement.

Grant:
