South African Trade Mark and Patent Office Re-Opens

2007-06-29 The South African Trade Mark and Patent Office has announced that they will resume business as usual on 2 July 2007 following a strike by government employees since 1 June 2007. The period from 1 June 2007 to 29 June 2007 has been declared dies non. In effect any deadlines or priority dates which fell within this period will receive the date of 2 July 2007 but are deemed by the Registrar to have been lodged by the respective deadlines.
