IP interests in Egypt

Current events in Egypt have resulted in a communications blackout, covering all telecommunications and on-line channels. All government departments, including the patent and trade mark registries, were closed during the recent crisis. The situation has now stabilised to some extent and the trade mark and patent offices have re-opened. Consequently, the processing of applications has resumed, and while there will inevitably be a backlog, we shall endeavour to report normal developments with the minimum of delay.
