Get up to speed on IP law with a 3-day short course

Intellectual property (IP) law plays a key role in commerce and industry, so it is essential to have a grasp of the fundamentals. In response to this need, the Anton Mostert Chair of Intellectual Property Law of the University of Stellenbosch and the Intellectual Property Unit of the University of Cape Town will, once again, present a short course offering a general introduction to the field of IP law, including patents, trade marks, copyright and designs. The course will, for the first time, be offered in Gauteng, acceding to requests for us to do so.

Presented by an expert team of academics and practitioners, including from Spoor & Fisher, the course is aimed at anyone with an interest in IP law and there are no academic or other admission requirements. The course runs from 15-17 May 2017 at the Accolades Boutique Hotel in Midrand. Registration closes on the 12 May 2017 and you can click here for further information.
